PROGRAM 10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS

DAY 1: Arrival at Corfou airport. Meet & greet. Transfer with engish speaking assistance, dinner and overnight in 3* hotel. 

DAY 2: Breakfast and morning departure to the port of Corfu. Ferry to Igoumenitsa (08:00).We continue to Vergina. Stop over for coffee at 11:30. Arrival at Vergina approx. at 14:30 for lunch in tavern. Visit of Vergina after 15:00. Vergina has three points of interest that are within a few minutes drive of each other : the Macedonian tomb located 50 meters on the left after crossing the village and taking the direction of the palace to the right; the palace, the Aegean theater and finally , the royal tombs that reach back toward the village. The royal tombs are so beautiful and breathtaking that it is better to enjoy them at th end. Arrival in Thessaloniki at 19: 00-19: 30 Dinner and overnight in 3 * hotel in Thessaloniki.

DAY 3: After breakfast Visit of the St Sophia cathedral, of Saint Dimitrios church, of the la Rotonde. Stop in front of the Arc of Galère and the White Tower, the ramparts and the upper town, visit of the Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki. Lunch in tavern. Dinner and overnight in 3 * hotel in Kastoria.

DAY 4: After breakfast visit of 3 Byzantine cathedrals in Kastoria: Panagia Koupelidhiki, Taxiarxhis Mitropoleos , Aghios Nikolaos , then visit of  the old town of Kastoria . Visit of the Aivazi Folk Museum.Lunch in tavern. Road to Meteora. Dinner & overnight in 3 * hotel in Kalambaka.

DAY 5: After breakfast visit of 2 monasteries in Meteora. Lunch in tavern. Dinner and overnight in 3* hotel at Ioannina.

DAY 6: Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the Vrelli museum. (Famous museum of wax figures). Visit of Zagoria (2 villages) and the Vikos Gorge. Lunch in tavern. Dinner and overnight in 3 * hotel in Ioannina. 

DAY 7: Breakfast and city tour of Ioannina. Boat crossing of the Pamvotiva lake (10minutes). Arrival at the small island of Ali Pasha. Visit the Museum of Ali Pascha. Lunch in tavern. On the way to Igoumentsa port. Ferry to Corfu island (2 hours). Arrival at Corfu. Dinner and overnight in 3*.

DAY 8: Breakfast and transfer to the port. Embarcation and departure for the Paxos island. Navigation south passing near the west coast to admire the mos wild part of the island of Paxos. Stop on the island almost uninhabited of Antipaxos, swim in the turquoise and crystal clear waters of one of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Islands. Back to Paxos, short visit of the port of Gaios. Walk in the streets of the village with its shops and cafes-bars along the sea, possibility of swimming. Lunch in a tavern. In the late afternoon departure and return to Corfu. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight at 3 * hotel in Corfu.

DAY 9: Transfer to the port of Corfu and boarding on the ship. Travel along the Albanian port of Saranda. Formalities (payment visa locally € 10 per person) and then depart for a tour of 20km by bus passing through picturesque villages, fertile plains and a majestic lake on which lies the ancient city of Butrint (in Butrint Albanian):, listed World Heritage by UNESCO, including an ancient theater, Roman baths, a chapel of the fifth century, a city gate and a medieval century fortress now being a museum. Back in Saranda for lunch and free time. Back to Corfu approximately at 19:00. Overnight at 3 * hotel in Corfu.

DAY 10: After breakfast, departure by bus to Gastouri, a small village in the central part of the island to visit the Palace of Achillion, Neoclassical building built in 1890 at the request of the Empress Elizabeth (the famous Sissi) which is preserved as museum nowadays. Visit Corfu town on foot, its historic center with its picturesque streets, aristocratic buildings and the St. Spyridon cathedral. Free time. Transfer at the airport with English speaking escort. Assistance to the departure formalities. End of our services.
